Guideline of Draft Submission
- Begin investigating how to integrate AI text-to-image and image-to-image generation workflows into your research.
- Refer to the final submission guidelines for expected outputs (you don't need to achieve this level immediately, but should start working toward it).
- Submit a single PDF to google drive before 11 PM, Feb 7.
- The students from same groups should submit your works under same subfolder.
- Each group please create subfolder for your group at first, and put the latest group presentation(PDF) into the folder for context introduce purpose.
- I will review all submissions before the next course begins. Instead of presentations, I will ask questions about your work and provide feedback during the course (approximately 5 minutes per student).
Guideline of Final Submission (Keep updating)
1.AI-Generated Urban Prototype Section
- High-resolution AI-generated image (1 page): A detailed, high-resolution AI-generated image (over 2000 x 2000 pixels) derived from your site, mapping, digital or biological experiments, or other reference image with accompanying text guide. The image is not necessary to be 100% AI generated but open for manually editing and collage.
- Original image (1/2 page): Include the original image used as a basis for the AI-generated map.
- Experiment catalog: Showcase of a catalog of at least 3x4 images displaying various experiments conducted before arriving at the final output.
- Workflow and Parameters used for translation (1/2 page):
- Diagram or screenshot of the workflow you implement to generate this image, and relevant text explanation (explain for both technical and theoretic aspects)
- Outline the parameters (prompts, seed, sampler, step, CFG, denoise strength, etc.) you utilized to translate the image into an AI-generated image.
- Output explanation
- Hypothesis explanation: Provide a text or visual description explaining your hypothesis and reasoning behind the chosen translation process and the final output.
- Final output explanation: Explain your final output by highlighting its advantages and key features. Use diagrams if necessary to support your explanation.
2.AI-Generated Architectural Prototype Section
- One high-resolution main image and multi-view images visualized an AI generated architectural protype 3D model (1-2 page).
- AI generated architectural protype 3D model should be generated from the relevant image or text with your research site, context, biological reference, etc.
- The requirements for original image, experiment catalog, workflow and parameters used for translation, and output explanation are the same as those in the urban prototype section.
3.AI Video Submission X1:
- Design video: Create a video visualization of your urban or architectural prototype, or a visual narrative explaining your design concept, which could include manual post-processing. Ensure that it is in mp4 format with a resolution larger than 512x512 pixels (1080p is recommended), runs at least 24 FPS, and between 5 to 30 seconds.
- Parameters used for translation (1/2 page): Detail the parameters (prompts, initial or guide images, seed, sampler, etc.) employed in creating the video submission.
- Idea explanation (1/2 page): Provide a text or visual description that clarifies your concept behind the video submission.
